The Fox & Hounds is a cracking little pub (we are truly blessed with having two of the best pubs in the area, both within easy walking).
Dean (the landlord) has a range of first class real ales, including Marstons Pedigree and (this week) Morlands Old Speckled Hen. His mum, Di, does the best steak pie I’ve ever had but, being a chip fan, I have to recommend her chips with gravy. I’m now talking to the Chip Fanatics- some like theirs with ketchup, others with mayo but the best way is with a gravy dip, and Di does the best gravy in, well, anywhere. Try it!
They have curry nights once a month on a Thursday and you need to book well ahead.
