This year the Midsummer Fair is going to be dedicated to the 1940’s with re-enactments of the dark days of the War, blackouts, rationing and Dad’s Army. This is one where everyone can get involved so dig out your dad’s ration book and gas mask, your mum’s jitterbug outfit and your favourite recipe for use with dried egg!
Midsummer Fair day, this year, will be a feast of wartime nostalgia. We’re even hoping a bulldog will win the Dog Show!
